Natural sea sponge from the Caribbean. Harvested from the seas of Cuba, the Bahamas, the Gulf of Mexico, the West Indies, and of the Florida coast, the Caribbean sea sponge is perfect for a baby’s sensitive skin.
Hypoallergenic, absorbent and yet surprisingly soft, the Caribbean sea sponge is the ideal product for a gentle, yet deep cleansing of your baby’s skin.
Due to its natural microfiber texture, the Caribbean sponge can offer your baby perfect skin care and a soft sense like the feel of velvet. Choose simple and smooth circular moves as you use it.
How to clean and maintain your Caribbean sea sponge
Make sure you thoroughly rinse out your sponge with warm water after using it each time and let it dry naturally on a clean surface. This will help to keep it in the best condition for as long as possible.
It’s also important, however, to disinfect it regularly – at least once every 2-3 weeks if used daily – to prevent bacteria building up.
Here’s a good way to disinfect your sponge:
- Rinse the natural sponge under cold running water.
- Soak the sponge into a bowl with water and vinegar, a 10:1 analogy, and leave to soak for 30 minutes.
- Remove it from the bowl and squeeze it to remove excess liquid.
- Set out to dry on a clean surface, such as the bathtub.
- Use again. The sponge should be as good as new.
